Day Ten
Wednesday July 13, 2005
Huron Village
Waking up in their teepees
bright and early (6:00 am) the kids got showered and enjoyed more
free time to go
watch a movie at the lodge. We offered them juice, muffins, granola
bars and apples for breakfast.
Packing up everything, we boarded the bus and went on to eat lunch
at McDonald`s where we witnessed
the workers cook frantically to feed 89 hungry mouths. After this
well deserved break,
we headed to the Huron Village and learned a great deal about
Indian history.
We saw native dancing, their sauna, tepees, canoes and we learned
about the different tribes.
