Day Five
Friday July 8, 2005
Levis
The kids started off
with an enjoyable and well deserved swim at the pool, located
inside of the school.
Here they got to test their water skills by using the diving board,
the water slide, or battling each other with the noodles.
After this refreshing swim, we headed out for Fort #1 located
in the town of Lévis.
Here we enjoyed lunch in the beautiful sun before we headed on
for the rest of the day`s activites.
The kids learned about the history behind the Fort, and how it
was used to defend the great city of Québec.
After taking an excellent tour of the Fort, the children got to
experience life in the shoes of a real soldier by playing
a game where they got to clean out and load a canon. The canon
was fake of course.
We then packed our bags and headed to the imfamous "Chocolat
Favori". Famous for their vanilla ice cream cones
dipped in REAL chocolate, the kids got the chance to experience
this wonderful delicacy for free with the
choice of dipping their cones in milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
Filling our stomachs with this wonderful snack,
we headed back to the school where the children went back to their
twins home to enjoy their weekends without
any councilors but filled with lots of fun. Enjoy Your Weekend!
